Price List & Booking

More than 1 subject ?
When it comes to two or more subjects i like to see your photos before discussing the size options and prices. This is so that i can create some compositions to show you how i would arrange your photos and what sizes these will best work on.
I will try to create as many compositions as i can so that you have a few price options.
Backgrounds
If you request a background, this will come at an extra cost depending on the level of detail needed - as some backgrounds can take a few extra days work!
A plain gradient background is no extra charge.
To determine the background cost id need to see your reference photo to gain an understanding of how long it may take me.
THE BOOKING PROCESS
Please see below the stages we will take to get the finished product!
The initial enquiry
You’ve already taken the first step by getting to this stage in my website! The next step would be to fill out the ‘contact me’ form and get in touch! Upon filling the form, I’d love to hear more about you and your pet and ask any questions you may have! You don’t have to know exactly which size you want at this point.
I will get back to you as quickly as i can, while you’re waiting please have a look for some of your favourite photos as i will ask you to send them over!
Sizes & Reference photos
Once you’ve sent me your favourite photos, i will use them to put together ‘compositions’, this is to show you how i would position the image on my different size options which gives you a sense of how the final drawing will look. I find this really helps my clients when it comes to deciding which size fits their favourite image the best. If you need help choosing a reference photo, please visit the ‘reference photo’ section on my website!
Wait list & booking in
Hopefully now we have come to a decision on the reference photo and size, I’ve answered any questions you may have and you’re ready to get booked in! I ask for a 50% deposit to secure your slot on my waiting list, this is non refundable because you are booking a space that could be used by somebody else. I take my payments using my website, so i send over a ‘payment request’ to your email where you’re able to pay via card or Paypal, the exchange rate from GBP is automatically worked out for you too if you’re based outside of the UK.
The lead up to your commission
A couple of weeks before your slot i will contact you to discuss the background colour for your commission, my background colours are the colour of the paper that i will work on and there are 9 tones to choose from! If you have something different in mind please do let me know at the start of the process because I’m more than happy to accommodate but in some cases it may cost you a little extra!
A few days before i am about to begin, i will message you for the remaining 50% of the payment and any special last minute requests or changes you may have to your commission! The next step is to sit back and relax while i bring your pet portrait to life!
The final portrait and shipping
Once I’ve finished your commission i will take photos of the portrait to send you and get your approval! The option is always there for adjustments to be made before i send it off to you! Of course i hope you love it but i want it to be perfect for you so i will never be offended if you want things tweaked!
Shipping varies slightly depending on where about’s in the world you are and how large your commission is, it ranges from £30-£50. Packages are sent via UPS with added protection to cover the value of your piece during it’s travels. I’ve sent many portraits off now with UPS and they’ve been great!
Receiving your portrait
When your portrait arrives, I’d love to know you have it safely so please pop me an email if you can! In the unlikely case that there are any problems with the condition of the portrait due to postage please let me know right away and send pictures immediately so i can file a claim! Portraits are sent off with my framing advise so you can finish off your commission perfectly! I’m always here to advise you if you need extra help.
Finally i hope your new portrait fills you with joy and comfort, i always appreciate feedback so to hear what you think of the process and your new commission would be amazing!
To get the process started please fill in the enquiry form below! I’d absolutely love to hear more about you and your pet, or whether you’re interested in commissioning a portrait as a gift for a loved one! I’m thoroughly looking forward to hearing from you!
